Welcome to the Tapas Bar.
Opened in December of 2006, the Tapas Bar has already gained popularity among locals and tourists. Our light and flavorful tapas are a great compliment to the rustic surroundings of Casa Isleña. Our sangrias are a popular refreshment, and we also offer a full bar. Other favorites include fresh mojitos, kalimotxo, and Cointreau margaritas.
Within only a few months of opening, The Tapas Bar has acquired the Best Food and Beverage Award from the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, and a lovely write-up in Budget Travel Magazine. After a successful first year, the Tapas Bar has expanded its capabilities and now offers a larger, more delicious menu. Click here to see last year’s menu.
In addition to serving delicious food and drinks, the Tapas Bar is focussed on minimizing our footprint. We use organic and local ingredients when possible. We minimize the use of plastics by encouraging consumption of our filtered water rather than buying bottled water. Our take-out containers are made from biodegradable corn-based materials. And when we prepare seafood we make sure it has been sustainably harvested.
The Tapas Bar will open for the 20009-10 season Thursday, November 5th. The restaurant does not currently accept reservations. Please contact us if you’re interested in hosting larger dinner parties.
